I graduated from Brown University in 2020 with bachelor’s degrees in Africana Studies and Modern Culture and Media. While at Brown, I was a guard on the varsity women’s basketball team, a university tour guide and a RA in the dorms. I study abroad in Spain, where I became fluent in Spanish. I was a senior staff writer for the Brown Daily Herald.

I broke the story on the Ivy League cancelling the remaining sports seasons Spring 2020. I covered our three-time women’s soccer champions. I also won the Africana Department’s Ida B. Wells Award.
